Vol. 195 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Repair of Public Telephones in Dublin.

21.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs at what intervals telephone kiosks in the city of Dublin are inspected with a view to keeping the telephones in proper working order; and what arrangements are made by his Department for the carrying-out of day-to-day repair work on public telephones in the city.

The most heavily used kiosks are inspected daily — for example those in the central city area. The others are looked at three times a week. Complaints of faults are dealt with promptly on a priority basis.
