Vol. 195 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin School Buses.

24.

asked the Minister for Education whether he will take steps to ensure that buses which are provided to transport children from Finglas and other areas to schools in other parts of Dublin, pending the building of schools at Finglas, are not overcrowded.

The transport services referred to by the Deputy are operated by Córas Iompair Éireann. The question of the adequacy of the bus accommodation provided is kept under review by the company which makes additional buses available as the necessity arises. I am satisfied that the present arrangements in that regard are satisfactory.
