asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the total number of registered electors for each of the years 1961-62 and 1962-63 and the decrease or increase in the total between the years 1961-62 and 1962-63.
The total number of electors on the Register of Electors for 1961-62 was 1,691,132 and for 1962-63 is, subject to verification, 1,691,403. On the basis of these figures there was an increase of 271 between the years 1961-62 and 1962-63.
