asked the Minister for Local Government the result of the most recent housing survey conducted by the Dún Laoghaire Corporation, and the number of houses the Corporation propose to construct during the next two years to meet the housing needs of applicants.

I have not yet received from the Dún Laoghaire Corporation the results of the unfit housing survey which I requested.

A scheme of 90 houses is in progress at "Boley", Monkstown. I understand that the Corporation have sites available to accommodate some 300 further houses. I have no information, however, as to the Corporation's building proposals for the next two years.

asked the Minister for Local Government the result of the most recent survey of Dublin County Council for the Rathdown area, and the number of houses the Council propose to construct during the next two years to meet the housing needs of applicants.

I have not yet received from Dublin County Council the result of the unfit housing survey in respect of the Rathdown area which I understand is nearing completion.

The housing authority are proceeding with a scheme of 88 houses at Dundrum which is at the tender stage and a scheme of 66 houses at Stillorgan, the plans for which are under examination. No other proposals for the area have yet been received in my Department from the housing authority but I understand that further schemes are under consideration by them.
