(a) The amount per taxed vehicle provided by road authorities out of local rates for expenditure on road works in 1961-62 was £15,216. (b) The amount per taxed vehicle allocated to the Road Fund from the Exchequer was £1,684. (c) The total of (a) and (b) amounts to £16.9 per taxed vehicle.
