andMr. McQuillan asked the Minister for External Affairs whether as an earnest of the sincerity of Ireland's moral support and sympathy for India in her struggle against Chinese invasion it is the Government's intention to send immediate help in the form of medical or other supplies of which India appears to be in serious need.

The Government have not received any request and have not therefore decided to send any such supplies.
