Vol. 198 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Post Office Christmas Employment.

20.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will ensure that in the recruitment of extra staff for the Christmas postal rush preference will be given to unemployed married men with families.

Temporary staff for Christmas postal work are selected from persons registered for such work at employment exchanges and, provided they are suitable, unemployed married men with families get preference.
