asked the Minister for Local Government if the housing survey for Dun Laoghaire Corporation is yet completed; and, if so, if he will state the estimated number of new houses necessary.

The survey of unfit housing carried out by Dun Laoghaire Corporation disclosed 285 unfit dwellings of which 199 were incapable of economic repair. The dwellings contained 250 families regarded as eligible for rehousing, including 117 families of one and two persons.

asked the Minister for Local Government if the housing survey for the Rathdown area, County Dublin is yet completed; and if he will state the estimated number of houses needed.

The survey of unfit housing carried out by Dublin County Council in the district electoral divisions of Ballybrack, Rathmichael, Stillorgan, Dundrum and Milltown disclosed 318 unfit houses, of which 128 were incapable of economic repair. There were 108 families in these latter dwellings, whom the housing authority regarded as eligible for rehousing including 54 families of one and two persons.
