Vol. 199 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wicklow Telephone Applications.

44.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of current applications for telephones in County Wicklow; how many applications have been on hands for two years and over, and for one year; and when it is likely that service will be provided for these applicants.

In the area in question there are about 240 applications for telephones of which 5 and 65 are in hand for over two years and one year respectively. About 120 of these will be cleared within the next few months and a further 60 by the end of the year.
