Vol. 199 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Parking of Funeral Cars.

57.

asked the Minister for Justice if undertakers and persons attending funerals at the Catholic church in Terenure East will be prosecuted for parking outside the church where No Parking signs have been erected.

This matter is already provided for in the new bye-laws that have recently been made— parking for up to one hour is being permitted on the south side of Terenure Road East, outside the church. I am informed that in preparation for the coming into effect of the new bye-laws, the existing signs on that side of the road were taken down by the Dublin Corporation within the last couple of days. Accordingly, the problem referred to in the Question no longer arises.
