Vol. 201 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dunmore East (Waterford) Pier.

6.

asked the Minister for Finance when the proposed works for extension and improvement of the pier at Dunmore East, County Waterford, will commence; and what is the estimated figure for outlay on this pier in the coming year.

The Commissioners of Public Works have recently sent for consideration by the Minister for Lands an engineering report on the proposed development of Dunmore East as a major fishery harbour. It is hoped that work will be started in the Autumn of this year. It is difficult at this stage to estimate the expenditure in the coming financial year, but it will probably be of the order of £10,000.
