The Government have given approval for the drafting of a Bill to amend the Adoption Act in certain respects, and the Bill is at present in the initial stages of preparation. It may be ready for introduction before the end of the present Session. I cannot disclose, in advance of the circulation of the text, what may be in the Bill.
