The nursery at Mulroy Forest is in process of being closed down in the course of a general re-organisation of forest nurseries into larger units in the interests of economy and efficiency in plant production.
Will the Minister take steps to see that the men who have had constant employment at Mulroy for a number of years will not be disemployed as a result of this, if it is at all possible?
The standard practice of my Department is to provide alternative employment, if at all possible, in cases of this kind.
