(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Transport and Power the annual receipts for the past ten years at Shannon Airport arising from restaurant, bars, shops, etc., in (a) the catering establishment, and (b) the duty-free establishment.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Receipts at Shannon Airport.
Particulars of receipts by the sales and catering service at Shannon Airport are not available in the form indicated by the Deputy. The service is operated as a composite whole and the accounts are prepared on that basis.
Information regarding the total annual receipts by the sales and catering service and, also, the aggregate annual receipts from sales of duty-free goods is, however, available and I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate this information with the Official Report in the form of a tabular statement.
