andMr. McQuillan asked the Minister for Lands the names of the persons nominated by him to serve in positions carrying remuneration, other than out of pocket expenses, on commissions, industrial, assurance, semi-State or other similar concerns, the amounts received annually in respect of each appointment, and the name of the concern to which the appointment was made during the years 1957 to date.
The only relevant concern is An Bord Iascaigh Mhara, the members of which have been appointed from time to time under the Sea Fisheries Acts, 1952 to 1959. The names of the present members are:
B.M. O'Kelly, Chairman (whole-time); L.J. McCarthy; M.F. McNamara; P.J. Hardy; J.B. Healy; J. O'Callaghan.
The annual fee is £3,500 for the whole-time Chairman and £300 for each ordinary member.
The following persons, who are no longer members, were also appointed during the period in question:
S. O Mealláin, Chairman (part-time); D. Griffin; E. Reid; W. J. Sweeney.
The annual fee was £331 for the part-time Chairman; for each ordinary member the annual fee was £200 up to 24th April, 1958, and £300 thereafter.
