Vol. 204 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

Could the Taoiseach say at this stage if there is any indication of the programme of work the Dáil has to dispose of before the adjournment for the summer recess.

I have already asked the Government Chief Whip to meet the other Party Whips this afternoon.

And he can take off quarter of the load he was straddled with the last time he met us.

I think it will be more than quarter. As the Deputy knows, we are always very reasonable.

Has the Taoiseach any adjournment date in mind?

No, not yet. Perhaps tomorrow we may be able to suggest a date.

There will be one this year, of course?

That has not been fixed yet.

Surely we must keep up the practice of adjourning once a year?

We can give the Taoiseach an adjournment now to trot up to the Park, if he likes.

Do not frighten yourself.

Perhaps we should stress the importance of the Taoiseach's keeping track of his Deputies during the evening.

They have bought two helicopters. They can go out and look for them.
