Vol. 204 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Use of Yacht for Training Courses.

28.

asked the Minister for Defence whether the Asgard is now in use by An Slua Muirí for training purposes; and, if not, why.

The Asgard is being used by An Slua Muirí for training purposes.

Is the boat at sea or is it not?

It is afloat.

When the Minister indicates that the boat is afloat, does he indicate that it is at sea——

Like the Government.

It is at sea.

Is the Minister trying to get out of the situation by indicating that it is afloat when in fact it is tied up and cannot go to sea?

What situation is the Deputy referring to?

Can the Asgard go to sea at this moment?

(Interruptions.)

Deputy T. Lynch will please allow the business to continue. He is interrupting all the time.

I asked a supplementary Question and I would not be allowed to get an answer.

How many times has the Asgard left her moorings?

There are two kinds of training on this boat. A considerably larger number can be trained when it is in harbour than when it is at sea. It gives two kinds of training.

The Minister has not answered my question. How many times has the Asgard left her moorings?

I cannot carry a wealth of detail of that sort in my head. The Deputy should put down a question.
