18.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the current prices obtainable in the British market for Irish butter, and the comparative average prices for each of the last five years.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to have circulated with the Official Report.

The prices obtainable at present are 348/- per cwt. f.o.b. in the case of Britain and 365/6d. per cwt. free-to-frontier in the case of the Six Counties.
