asked the Minister for Education if he will give details of the proposals being considered by his Department for the erection or extension of national schools in County Wexford.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate for inclusion in the Official Report a statement giving the information requested by the Deputy.

Following is the statement:

COUNTY WEXFORD.

Proposals for the Erection of National Schools.

Schools in course of erection:— Ballyduff, Castlebridge, Screen, Wexford (4).

Cases at various stages in relation to the sanction of grants:— Ballaghkeene, Ballycanew, Ballykelly, Ballyroebuck, Caime, Carne, Carrigbyrne, Cleariestown, Clonroche, Court, Curracloe, Forth, Gusserane, Inch, Killesk, Kilmore Convent, Marshalstown, Mulrankin, Newbawn, Park, St. Leonard's, Templeudigan, Tullycanna.

Proposals for the Extension and Improvement of Existing National Schools.

(a) Schools in course of extension or improvement:— St. Joseph's, Ballymitty, Ballythomas, Oylegate.

(b) Grants sanctioned contracts not yet placed:— Kilanerin, Kilmuckridge, Monaseed, Wexford Convent.

(c) Cases at various stages in relation to the sanction of grants:— Ballygarrett, Blackwater, Gorey Convent.
