At the request of Roinn na Gaeltachta, the Commissioners of Public Works have had an engineering survey made of the existing pier at Inis Bearacháin. The data collected are now being studied and a report with a plan and estimate of cost of the proposed improvements will be furnished to an Roinn early in the New Year.
