Vol. 206 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Pedestrian Crossing.

22.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government the reason for the delay in providing either a controlled or an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing on Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin; and when such will be provided.

I understand from Dublin Corporation that tenders will shortly be invited for the provision of pedestrian lights at the site in question as this form of traffic control, recently installed on a trial basis at South Great George's Street, has been found to be satisfactory. I cannot say at present when the lights will be provided.
