In the current year's Estimates, £3,826,000 is being provided for secondary education and £2,333,500 for vocational education including in both cases the cost of administration and inspection. At the beginning of this school-year there were 89,205 pupils in secondary schools. The most recent year for which pupil figures are available for vocational schools is 1961/62. In that year the numbers were:—

Would the Minister say if those figures include what are called secondary tops in a primary school or are they excluded?
They would not include them.
