Vol. 206 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Non-Delivery of Letter.

58.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs why an undelivered letter sent on 14th October last to a Dublin address (particulars supplied) was not returned to the Dublin sender bearing the legend "gone away" until 5th December, 1963.

The addressee requested on 13th October that her correspondence be retained until she gave a new address to which she intended to move. As nothing further was heard from her, letters on hand up to 2nd December were returned to the senders after it had been confirmed that she had left her former address.
