Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in respect of the five years disqualification for holding a driving licence remitted by him on 1st January last why the disqualification was originally imposed on 14th March 1961.

The disqualification was imposed as a result of a conviction on the 14th March, 1961, of an offence against section 56 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961.
