Vol. 207 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tramore Garda Station.

155.

asked the Minister for Justice what is the position regarding the building of the new Garda station at Tramore, County Waterford.

The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that they have not yet succeeded in securing a suitable site for the new station to be erected at this centre. They are considering a suggestion of the local authority for conversion of the former railway station into a Garda station.

That has mould on it, it has been so long in cold storage. That answer is about 15 years old.

I hope Deputy Lynch will not begin to feel neglected.

I do feel neglected and cold.

His requests always receive most favourable and prompt consideration.

What I would like is that the Minister would start building.
