Vol. 207 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballintogher (Sligo) Water and Sewerage Facilities.

65.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is being done to provide water and sewerage facilities for the village of Ballintogher, County Sligo, as there is now a plentiful supply in the town park where a well was bored.

Tests are being carried out on the well referred to with a view to using it as a source for a temporary water supply for Ballintogher. A permanent supply is envisaged in proposals for a regional scheme which is at the preliminary planning stage at present. The Council have not formulated any proposal as yet for a sewerage scheme.
