Vol. 208 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tipperary Roadway.

13.

asked the Minister for Finance what is the present position with regard to an application for a rural improvement grant for a roadway to serve the needs of a number of families at Ballycohey, Tipperary town; and what are the reasons for the delay in coming to a decision with regard to this grant.

The scheme has been inspected and a decision will be conveyed to the applicants in the near future. Some delay is unavoidable in dealing with these schemes; it takes some time before the engineer can arrange an inspection of the site, and on receipt of his report other inquiries have to be made at head office.
