With a view to preparing a more balanced scheme of land settlement for this townland, the Land Commission have decided that disposal of the lands in question, comprising 45 acres, should await the outcome of current proceedings for acquisition of an adjacent 100 acre property. If these proceedings prove successful, it is hoped to have composite resale proposals formulated for operation next year.
