In the development of angling as a tourist attraction Bord Fáilte and the Inland Fisheries Trust work in the closest cooperation.
The broad division of functions is that the Inland Fisheries Trust is responsible for fishery development works and Bord Fáilte is responsible for promotion and publicity work and for certain ancillary development relating to accommodation and other amenities. More precise definition of responsibility is subordinated to the practical problem of getting the job done.
