Vol. 209 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wexford Borough Housing.

44.

asked the Minister for Local Government what plans are before his Department for housing in the borough of Wexford; when such plans were received; and if they have been sanctioned.

No proposals for the erection of local authority houses in Wexford Borough are at present before my Department. Proposals for the erection of a total of 184 houses in three separate schemes, which I received on various dates between 25th August, 1962, and 29th November, 1963, were approved on various dates between 13th September, 1962, and 12th February, 1964. Six of these houses have been completed and 178 are still in progress.

Would the Minister clarify the position for me? How many houses has he approved altogether?

So far as this question is concerned, the figure is 184.
