Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Galway Water Supply.

55.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of regional water schemes submitted by the Galway County Council to his Department for examination; if he has agreed to all of them; if he will give the names of the townlands covered by these schemes; and if he has returned them to the Council for the appointment of consultant engineers.

Six regional schemes have been submitted by Galway County Council and approval has been given to the appointment of consultant engineers for five of these schemes. Details of the preliminary proposals and copies of the maps relating to each scheme are available for inspection in the council's offices.
