Vol. 211 No. 8

Committee on Finance. - Vote 15—Secret Service.

I move:

That a sum not exceeding £5,000 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1965, for Secret Service.

The Minister, of course, will give us full details about this.

Every year we ask for £7,500 and every year we spend £4,500. Deputies will see that the expenditure has remained constant.

Perhaps it would not be desirable to pinpoint it by increasing the amount in any one year.

Vote put and agreed to.
