Vol. 211 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water Supply to Dublin Areas.

28.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the inadequate water supply in the Finglas, Cabra West and Navan Road areas of Dublin; and if he will take immediate and positive steps to rectify the situation in the interests of hygiene and public health, particularly having regard to the fact that residents are left without ordinary toilet facilities owing to the inadequate supply of water.

No representations have been made to me in this matter. I understand that Dublin Corporation are not aware of any particular water problem in these areas. I have, however, asked the Corporation to investigate the position and I shall inform the Deputy of the outcome.
