Vol. 212 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ring-Commons (Dublin) Cottages.

19.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of any proposals for the building of county council cottages in the district of Ring-Commons; and if not, if he will suggest to Dublin County Council that steps should be taken to provide houses for people anxious to remain in this rural area.

I am not aware of any such proposal. There should be no necessity for me to make suggestions in the matter to the housing authority on whom rests the responsibility for rehousing eligible persons in need of houses.
