Vol. 212 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Social Welfare Payments to Itinerants.

52.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare whether itinerants and their families are entitled to social welfare services such as (a) old age pensions (b) widows pensions and (c) children's allowances etc., and the amount received under each heading by such persons during the past two years.

Itinerants are eligible for the social services administered by my Department in the same way as others. Separate statistics are not compiled in respect of them.
