Vol. 213 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acceptance of Educational Qualifications.

13.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Education whether, in view of the fact that the British authorities will not accept the leaving certificate as an educational qualification, he will take steps to preclude Irish companies from accepting British educational qualifications.

The position in regard to acceptance of the Leaving Certificate as an educational qualification is not as stated in the Deputy's question. The second part of the question does not therefore arise.
