Quite recently I approved a proposal by the Authority for an extension of 2¾ hours per week in the hours of television broadcasting so that programmes could be broadcast regularly on Sunday afternoons during the period October to May. The new Sunday schedules have been in operation since 25th October. On the matter of a further extension, I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a number of questions by Deputy Corish today.
