Vol. 213 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial Grants.

8.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what firms have received or have been approved for grants of £250,000 and upwards under the Industrial Grants Acts and the Undeveloped Areas Acts.

The annual reports of An Foras Tionscal, the latest of which was for the year ended 31st March, 1964, give particulars of individual grants in respect of which payments were made in the course of the year. These particulars include, inter alia, the name of the firm concerned, the amount of the grant approved and the amount of the payment made in the year. An Foras Tionscal do not publish information regarding individual grants approved until payments in respect of the grants have actually been made.
