The House was informed on 9th December, 1964, that there will be no redundancies at the CIE Works at Spa Road for eighteen months. I am not in a position at this stage to make any reliable estimate of the extent of the ultimate redundancy, if any, which may occur but I assume that, should the need arise, CIE will fully explore the possibility of providing alternative employment.
