Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of shopkeepers in Dublin (a) who have been evicted from or required to vacate their shops since 1st June 1963 by reason of the operations of the Dublin Corporation Act, 1890 and the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1964, (b) who have been allowed to reoccupy their premises on elimination of the danger, (c) who have received no compensation from the Corporation, and (d) who have received compensation and the average amount of such compensation.

The information requested, which is not available in my Department, is being obtained from the Corporation and will be forwarded to the Deputy on receipt.
