Vol. 214 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Sligo School.

21.

asked the Minister for Education what is the present position regarding repairs to Ballacutranta national school, Dromard (or Beltra), County Sligo; and the reason why repairs have been so long delayed.

The Commissioners of Public Works have prepared details of a scheme of improvements for the Ballycutranta school which includes the provision of a water carriage system of sanitation. My Department is in communication with the manager in the matter. When the necessary preliminaries have been completed the Department will sanction a grant towards the cost of the works.

In view of the large amount of school building work on hands, I am satisfied that there was no undue delay in this case.
