The Templeogue Trading and Investment Co. Ltd., of which Herr Paul is the major shareholder, purchased some 5½ thousand acres (total Rateable Valuation £40 15s.) of high rough and exposed mountain land, in the Bangor Erris district last year. The lands were inspected by my Department before the purchase; and were considered unsuitable either for the ordinary purposes of land settlement or for afforestation.
The Land Commission are not in a position to comment on Herr Paul's plans about the property.
