asked the Minister for Local Government what steps he has taken to review the statutory provisions in relation to the subsidisation of the housing of the working classes in respect of flat dwellings in Dublin city.

I would refer the Deputy to the recent White Paper on Housing in which it was indicated that it is proposed to introduce special subsidies for flats of six or more storeys, and for dwellings which require abnormal expenditure because of location, siting or form of construction.
