I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 27, 28 and 29 together.

The number of appeals on hands from tenant-purchasers of labourers' cottages in the administrative counties of Kildare, Meath and Westmeath is 31, 19 and six respectively of which nine from Kildare and two from Meath are in the final stages and will be determined shortly. The remaining cases are at various stages of consideration prior to inspection and will be determined as soon as possible.

The appeals in the longest outstanding cases were received on 1st December 1960, in the case of County Kildare; on 3rd June 1964, in the case of County Meath; and on 2nd September 1964, in the case of County Westmeath.

In the Kildare case, certain work has been carried out by the county council and a formal decision has been deferred pending receipt of details of that work.
