Vol. 214 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dundalk Redundant Railway Workers.

17.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he has received representations from Dundalk Urban Council with regard to further compensation for railway workers now redundant in Dundalk Engineering Works; and what steps he intends to take in relation to these representations.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a question in Dáil Éireann on 2nd May, 1963—Volume 202, columns 898 and 899 of the Dáil Debates for that date.
