Vol. 214 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rosslare Harbour Water Scheme.

28.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether there are any proposals before his Department for the provision of a water scheme for Rosslare Harbour; and, if so, if he will expedite sanction of the scheme on account of the present inadequate supply and particularly in view of the expanding tourist industry in the area.

Detailed drawings for Stage II of the Kilmore Quay regional water supply scheme which provides for a supply to Rosslare Harbour are at present being examined in my Department. I hope to convey a decision thereon to Wexford County Council shortly.
