asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he will state in respect of the past six years for each tourist resort that has been allotted grants for tourist development (1) its name, (2) the amount of the grant, (3) a description of the development and (4) the amount of the local contribution.

1 Skerries	Works	Property acquisitions and construction of slipway.
	Expenditure	Total £4,138: BFE £1,000. Others £3,138.
2 Dun Laoghaire	Works	Property acquisitions; Recreation Centre at Moran Park; bathing facilities at Seapoint and Sandycove; park improvements and minor amenities.
	Expenditure	Total £36,800: BFE £26,210. Others £10,590.
3 Bray	Works	Property acquisitions and site clearance; widening esplanade; construction of toilets, shelters and bathing facilities along promenade; Recreation Centre at Town Park.
	Expenditure	Total £79,507: BFE £53,920. Others £25,587.
4 Greystones	Works	Improvements to pier, harbour area and Marine Parade; new public shelter and dressing shelters for anglers/boatmen; access and carpark at South Beach; Tennis Courts and Pavilion.
	Expenditure	Total £21,842: BFE £13,222. Others £8,620.
5 Arklow (Stage II)	Works	Landscaping and various site works; improvements and additions to Recreation Centre, including extension of games facilities.

6 Tramore	Works	Slipway at beach and promenade improvements.
	Expenditure	Total £7,000: BFE £4,750. Others £2,250.
7 Killarney	Works	Remodelling of Town Hall as theatre/concert hall; removal of walls along Kenmare Road; landscaping carpark and road works at Kilcoolaght; improved access to Mahony's Point and Golf Club; site purchase for scenic view at Aghadoe.

8 Ballybunion	Works	Property acquisitions; caravan park with recreation facilities and games area.

9 Kilkee	Works	Caravan Park; Promenade lawns and shelters at West End; Golf Clubhouse and public shelter at East End and various access works.
	Expenditure	Total £69,200: BFE £34,982. Others £34,218.
10 Lahinch	Works	Site acquisitions; new promenade and carparking facilities; Recreation Centre and swimming pool; extension of golfing facilities for adults and juniors.
	Expenditure	Total £83,379: BFE £66,904. Others £16,475.
11 Galway/Salthill	Works	Extension of promenade; groynes and beach improvements; site acquisitions for future developments; remodelling of Eyre Square; extension and improvement of golf and tennis club facilities; park improvements and minor amenities.

12 Youghal	Works	Proposals in abeyance pending completion of coast protection works.

13 Dingle Peninsula	Works	Improvements at Dingle Harbour; exhibition Cottage at Feoghanagh and various accesses to beaches and places of interest.

14 Achill Island	Works	Access to Keem Bay and sea angling facilities.

15 West Cork	Works	Sea angling base; improvements of Yacht Clubhouse and boatpark; restoration of Old Courthouse as Museum; remodelling of Town Hall as social centre and various town improvements at Kinsale.
		Property acquisitions for road improvements (Stage I); carparking and general site works at Glengarriff.
		Boating facilities and shelter for anglers at Roscarbery.
		Scenic view at Leap.
		Public toilets at Harbour, general landscaping around harbour and environs; property purchases; remodelling of Yacht Club facilities at Baltimore.
		Community Hall and shelter; Riverside park with boating, swimming and games facilities at Inchigeela.
		Site acquisitions for future development at Schull.
		Site purchases and construction of boating slipways at Bantry.

16 Donegal	Works	Property acquisitions (part only) for future development and improvement/extension of golfing facilities at Bundoran and Buncrana.
		Purchase improvement of foreshore lands at Moville and Rathmullan.
		General improvements and site works at Donegal Castle.
		Caravan Park at Carrowkeel.
		General accesses to beaches to places of historic or scenic interest at various locations.

17 Inland Waterways	Works	Supply and installation of navigation aids (buoys and markers) along waterway.
		New slipway and property acquisitions for future development at Carrick-on-Shannon.
		Landing stage, fuelling installations and riverside development at Rooskey.
		Dredging of Lecarrow Canal (Lough Ree).
		Dredging of harbour and property acquisition for future development at Banagher.
		Acquisition of foreshore properties at Dromineer.
