Vol. 214 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Fire Services.

12.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether in view of the outward movement of housing development it is proposed on the grounds of safety or otherwise to decentralise the fire services as at present constituted in Dublin city.

I understand that Dublin Corporation are at present examining the possibility of acquiring suitable sites for the erection of fire stations in the Coolock-Raheny, Donnybrook and Phibsboro' areas and that a site for a new station has been tentatively allocated in the Finglas area. A new station has already been provided in the Dolphin's Barn area.
