Vol. 215 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Health Authority Farm.

9.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (1) the date on which the Dublin Health Authority offered to sell to the Land Commission portion of their farm at Portrane, County Dublin; (2) the area of land offered; and (3) what progress has been made regarding the purchase of this land.

On 4th August last the Dublin Health Authority notified the Land Commission of its intention to dispose of certain property, comprising between 600 and 700 acres, in the locality mentioned. The lands were subsequently inspected by the Land Commission to ascertain their suitability for the purposes of the Land Acts. There has since been some modification of the area on offer and a decision will be reached in the matter on receipt of confirmation by the Authority as to the precise area for disposal.
