Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Holidays of Insurance Company Staff.

asked the Taoiseach whether any action has yet been taken by the Chief State Solicitor regarding the granting of legal holidays with pay to the staff of a British insurance company operating in this country, referred to him by the Minister for Industry and Commerce.

As stated by the Minister for Industry and Commerce in answer to a question addressed to him in this House on 11th March last, the matter was referred to the Chief State Solicitor for consideration of the appropriate legal proceedings. This consideration is still proceeding.
